I've bought a few pieces from Clippard on the last 18 months, and their Machinists are .. lacking.
I'm not sure if it's going to get better, but I sent them a customer service message mentioning it.
This is literally garbage.
If anyone is wondering why...
The inconsistent finish, with the gouges, compromise the entire piece that is meant to be pressurized. It may never reach a pressure that will fatally compromise it, but it will make the piece... Less good.
Sad to see the labor shortage hitting Machinists.
